Pastor Dale Moe
Dear Pastor Dale,

How do we say thanks?
For the years that you held our hands, touched our hearts, guided us, and encouraged us to become more, we are grateful.
For the puppet shows, the Baptisms, the basketball trophies, and fellowship hall prayers, we are grateful.
For your elementary school cafeteria worship services to brand new Sactuary sermons, we are grateful.
For every confidence you held, every promise you kept, every tear you cried, we are grateful.
For every visit to our homes, every child of ours you inspired, every note you've ever written us, we are grateful.
For the calm and peace so evident on your face, for the hours we drew you away from your family, and for the belief you've had in us all along, we are grateful.
For your mission heart, for your family's support, for your passion for the Word and your devotion to our Lord God, we are more than grateful.
We will be forever changed because of you.

With Our Love, Your Congregation

Listen to Pastor Dale's final sermon at Lord of Grace on Sunday, June 17, 2007 (20 minutes/19MB file)

Pastor Dale and his family have taken a new calling and are moving to Grafton, North Dakota where he will be the new Senior Pastor at Grafton Lutheran Church.

Pastor Dale Moe is the mission developing pastor at Lord of Grace. The church began in the Fall of 1996. The years of ministry preceding mission development in Tucson, AZ were years in which Pastor Moe served his first call in Hibbing, MN at First Lutheran Church (1988-92) in a team ministry, and four years later received his second call to Grafton, ND at Grafton Lutheran Church (1992-96) in a team ministry as well. Pastor Moe's roots are in Minnesota, where both of his parents and his wife's parents grew up. His wife's (Sunni) parents and five siblings (their families) continue to live in Minnesota; and Dale's parents now live in the Northwest part of Arkansas (Bella Vista). Dale has one sister (married and a family) who live in Chicago and one brother (married and a family) who live in the town which Dale grew-up-Duluth, MN. After graduating from Duluth East High School (1980) Dale then attended Concordia College in Moorhead, MN on a basketball scholarship. It was during his second year at Concordia that Dale felt his calling to become a pastor. Dale received a BA from Concordia College in Communications and a minor in Business graduating with honors. Dale began his four year seminary education in the Fall of 1984 and spent his third year of seminary training on internship, in Sierra Vista, AZ. He then graduated from Luther Theological Seminary in St. Paul, MN-in May of 1988 with a Masters of Divinity Degree (M. Div). Pastor Moe has been blessed beyond words in these 18 plus years of ministry.

Pastor Moe enjoys family and sports. His three children (Alex 16yrs., Chelsee 12 yrs., and Haley 9yrs.) are all a blessing to him in his life as is his wife-Sunni. Outside of Lord of Grace Church activities Pastor Moe serves on a number of other church committees of the Grand Canyon Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America = Dean of the Santa Cruz Conference, the Evangelism Board, Synod Assembly planning team, to name a few. When Dale isn't at church you may very well find him visiting a member of the church or out running, in the pool, at the ball park or attending one or his children's functions. Also, attending half the U of A men's basketball games is another passion of Pastor Moe's.
